Product Story
I wanted a healthier soft drink that I could genuinely enjoy. At the same time, many of my friends living with diabetes told me how difficult it was to find enjoyable alternatives to traditional soft drinks. Parents shared stories of limiting or hiding sugary beverages from their children despite wanting them to enjoy the same simple pleasures as everyone else.
While developing this project, I met a person who profoundly changed my life. He encouraged me to heal, create, and believe in my work. After years of struggling with the effects of narcissistic abuse, My Love took his own life. M.L. Soda™ is named in his tribute. It is both a beverage project and a physical reminder that mental health matters. Every can represents a commitment to creating a world where people can live healthier, more connected, and more fulfilling lives.
Pilot Introduction
The first M.L. Soda™ pilot batch was introduced in partnership with organizations supporting people living with diabetes. This product was presented during an international football event for children with diabetes in Warsaw, Poland, providing an opportunity to gather direct feedback from children, families, and health-conscious consumers.
Pilot served as an important validation stage, helping assess taste preferences, product positioning, and overall consumer response. Insights gathered during the introduction are being used to guide future product development, production planning, and scaling efforts.
About the Founder
Maria Sosin is the founder of M.L. Soda™ and President of NGO Fundacja SET & SETTING. Her background combines health education, creative arts, social impact work, youth projects, and international community initiatives.
